Welcome to Autopia! Last update: 11-Aug-2004.

Our community has been the victim of Islamic cyber-terrorists who feel they can use us to spread their political hate and discontent. In an effort to "close the door", we have upgraded our forum software (to take advantage of security fixes) and reviewed our file security. This does not mean that our hacker friend will not find another weakness to exploit.

Our next step is to upgrade the software to the latest version, which will require a big overhaul of the site. I'm working hard to get us to the new software ASAP. In the meantime, I will take backups more frequently so our losses will be minimal.

I'm sorry to hear about the site's woes. It's probably for the better that I don't start ranting and raving but if this probably is the case with Islamic hackers, it may be of some interest to the FBI. Maybe I'm paranoid but worth checking into.
Let me know how it turns out. BTW, I love Klasse!

Wonder if it's the same group that has just wreaked havoc on HIDForums. Lost several month's worth of posts while they rebuild from April back up.
