95 e300d engine Q
I took my car to the merz shop for oil change and regular check up. The guy who owns the shop he is diesel merz fanatic, he told me that he can put turbo in my car so I would have torque ( I admit, I could use more power on this car) but I said I dont want any modifications on my car and expenses, so he said He can do it for good price and its easy to do it, because 98 e300td uses same engine but with attached turbo on it, my Q is: Is it true? And/ Does anyone has 94 95 E300D with turbo?

Your 606.910 engine wasn't designed to have a turbo.
If you like W124's, sell your's and get a 87 W124 that came with a turbo or upgrade to the W210 from 98-99 which were designed to have turbo's.

Even though the engines are similar, there were a large number of modifications made to the engine itself, and the management systems to accomodate, and properly use the turbo.

Yes, Mercedes engineers are indeed considerably more thorough than a "mechanic" looking to make a buck.
