???Service Interval Reset???

I have found several suggestions on how to reset the service interval on my 2005 E320 CDI, but none have worked. I have performed the necessary service but can not get it to reset. Does anyone know how to perform the reset on this particular vehicle? Thanks. Dr. J.

Use the buttons on the steering wheel, left hand side. You have to be patient playing with them. Once you have got it write down all the steps or else next time it is back to square one.

Thanks, I'll play around with them to see where I get. Sure would be nice to have a procedure from someone who has done this before. Dr. J.

You need to use th steering wheel buttons and toggle to the maint screens, then use R to reset.

Close front door.

You can find more under search. Pay attention to which year as the procedure changes.

Key in position 1, scroll using the steering wheel buttons until outside temp is displayed. Then hold the reset button until the screen changes. Then use the buttons to get to the service menu, select confirmation, then use the page button to confirm.
