w210 e320 cdi light mods how much power?

I have just bought the above
the cat has been removed, a less restrictive exhaust has been put in and has been custom remmapped. It feels as quick or may be quicker than my old 260bhp 1.8t VW Passat.

it does 30 - 70mph in around 5 secs

how much power/torque is it putting out?

ummmmm, then open the computer box and look for stickers inside the lid or on the ECU? Or look for add on chips (KD, etc.) since you don't know which, if any, it actually has.

Why are you timing it from 30 to 70mph? Why not 0-60mph so you ahve a known metric for comparission?

Put your car on a dyno.

Or how about if I guess 7000 horsepower?

MB did not import any W210 diesel E320 CDi into North America.
What model year is your W210?

I'm from the UK. They imported into the UK The 320 cdi from 1999. I used 30 - 70 to compare it to my 1.8t (fwd 282lbft) as there is no special launch procedure from standstill.

The best way is to put on a dyno but before then I thought I might ask here first. I did email the company but they havent got back to me

With just a remap Its about 230 bhp ish with 370 - 400 lbft
with the decat and exhaust what can i expect?

Whats the maximum i can get from the gt2359 and specifically what else can i do to it to release more?

Thank you
its the 2002 model as seen from the number plate the CDI badge was taken off

I was in the UK in July for a week and rented a Vauxhall Vectra 1.9 liter 5 speed diesel as a run around. Without even trying hard I achieved 44 mpg. This is the way north America needs to go to save fuel. Unfortunately the local car companies do not have a decent passenger car to sell and the governments therefore do not encourage diesel usage. MB and VW are the only two selling these here.

The good side is in due to the small number of diesel cars in Ontario Canada (3%) the present emission test is visual. No black smoke and you pass. It is easy to modify your engines to the end point of no black smoke. Is it the same in the UK or do you have to be hooked up to a computer like gasoline cars at the time of your MOT?
