i have calcite white which is warmer feeling vs. dimond white is brighter white. l personally like calcite white better.

I picked up my palladium E550 C 4 weeks ago. Since then it has been in the shop for a week when
all the safety systems went off line due to a Driver's seatbelt sensing module fault, and have incessant
problems with Linguatronic/phone system. Distronic plus works well and is a great safety feature.
Now I have the Parktronic alarm coming on (two red lights- no yellow lights, in the front while driving.
Dealer i stumped as there are no "fault codes". Of course it was intermittent and I cold not reproduce
it to the manager, but he took me seriously when I brought a video of this fault.
Now they will send the video to MB Canada.
I can't wait to hear how all this is my own fault somehow....

As a loyal MB owner for the last 26 years (19 cars MB cars purchased) I get a distinct impression that
things are just not the same at Mercedes Benz these days...
Does anyone share that impression?

Would you recommend the Distronic Plus? Does it work good in down town traffic? I mean can you solely rely on Distronic doing the brake ins and starts in queue driving?

that's too bad that you had to experience such thing. well, i must agree that some MB dealership service is not just the same as it used to be.

Hi Newbie,
I saw your post while trying to get some tire and wheel info on the internet after having a flat this past Saturday. I have the same e550 coupe in white. I wanted to say I really like the rims on yours so much better. I saw the ones you have when I looking over the brochure about the car and thought they were far better looking than the ones on mine. After the flat Saturday I am determined to have a full size spare and rim on hand. I wanted to compliment you after seeing the pics.
