unless I'm mistaken, that engine code is the twin-turbocharged straight six from Toyota right

Probably. That seems to be a very popular conversion in Thailand.

Here are some more Pictures of my W123 with the 1JZ engine

My engine is 1JZ GE which is 2500 cc. V6 engine (Non-Turbo) Approx. 180-200 Hp. This is very popular combination in Thailand.

However this year I'm planning to drop in 1JZ GTE 2500 cc. single Turbo Approx. 280 Hp. Hopefully

Hope you all like it.

You have to host the pictures on your own server or a host service like Photobucket.

Looks like a fun car. Can you post links to guides that show how to convert these over to the Toyota engines?

Even non-english would be nice. We can look at all the pictures and put together some of the steps.

Hey Transformer from egypt you can call me Tony by da way

The most important thing in engine swap in my opinion is the shop or the Mechanic that takea care of your ride which they need to be very experience in alining the engine so its stright and parallel then is the electrical wiring the engine to the W123 / and lots of other small details. In Thailand W123 has many combinations in engine swaping which leads to your question in droppin' in the engine mercedes benz of S320 M104 I believe that it would be great and it wouldn't be any problems with swaping engines within da mercedes brand. Why don't you go for da 500 or 560 engines to push it to da extream. Pls show me your ride bro love to see it and don't forget to keep updates on your project aight..C u around

Hi,

Not to steal from your thread and welcome to the forum! Here is my "modified" w123...it started as an engine swap project when I was 15 - my dad was going to teach me some fabricating, machining, welding, and painting etc...But I still love to own and drive it!

I bought the car with a destroyed OEM engine and it was beyond repair or salvage...and the body needed some / a lot of work...So it would have been crushed had I not bought it...

1980 Mercedes E230
Ford 3.0 with Eaton M-90 and FMIC
Handmade body kit
Lowered with Ventra springs and Bilstein HDs
Vented and slotted brakes with stainless steel lines
Etc, etc, etc...
