Recent Purchase 79 280 Euro
I moved to Ecuador for a year and picked up this carbed 280 for $4000 and will be working on it while I'm here.
4 Speed Black Tex No sunroof, no power windows, no a/c Left mirror only All original (except wheels) 132,000km Will post pics as repairs come along. New dash, minor rust, etc.

Beauty! I like that the first owner had the good taste to combine the white exterior with black interior instead of that horrible and all too common blue. I almost bought a carburetted white 1980 250T with black MB Tex, but it was sold just before I could manage to get the finances.
Aparantly the chrome under the rear lights is pretty rare and sought after. Also like the look of the houses on that pic. Dunno what it is though, guess because it looks strange and different. |
