Unhappy 80 300SD (W116) running hot

Recently I had my mechanic replace all of the tubing that connects to dreaded servo on my w116 diesel.

Since I’ve had the car back its running very hot almost into the red. Even in below freezing temps. I addressed this with the mechanic and he couldn’t find the problem.

Prior to having the tubing replaced engine temp was NEVER an issue.

What did he do that is causing this issue?

Thanks!!
