Is my 240 quieter at a high speed??

Okay am I on crack or do any other 240 owners find that there engine quiets down at around 70mph. Mine is noisier at 60.

Very possible, a lot of my cars seem to be quieter at higher speeds.

The wind noise overpowers the engine noise.
