diesel conversion

I have a 300d 1984

I would love a 300 sdl however I can't find one here.

Has anyone converted a 560sel or something like it to diesel?

I would like to know if the engine and trans mounting points would be the same as the 300d.
I know there would be alot of plumbing work transfering the vacuum system over from the diesel to the gasoline powered car.

other than swaping engine, trans, exhaust and ignition system what else would be required?

Let me know My 84 300d body has seen better days and I would love the larger car.

I do not know if they are the same, but the mounts can be modified to fit
