300TDT rear knocking
Hey guys,
I have an '85 300TDT which has been knocking in the rear of late. Car starts up and runs fine for a while and then the knocking begins. Definitely drivetrain related but can't pinpoint a halfshaft. Could be driveshaft into diff.. But why should it run fine for a while and then start knocking ? Could it be gear fluid related ? Thanks, Bhima |

Get it warmed up, grab a friend and go to an empty parking lot and drive it around and around in a 30' circle (right and left) while you or your friend walk next to it and listen.

Go look at the back of your car and see what it says.
 Being an 85 automatically means its a turbo. |
