w124 Maintenance Manual Modification (Easy CD search)

Has anybody else seen this before?

Can't remember where I found it, but someone made a modification for the Benz CD manual and it has everything laid out BEAUTIFULLY. No more struggling to find things on that CD...It's just awesome!

The original user interface doesn't even give itself justice to the vast amount of information that is really on the CD's!

If anybody is interested here it is:
http://www.ps2cho.net/downloads/W124v4.3.2.zip

Just simply copy the "Program" folder from each of the two CD's into his CD1 and CD2 folder respectively and fire away!

I'm so grateful for the work he did. It must have taken him ALOT of time to make this...

I bow to him

Should help me over Christmas break when I do my head gasket and rear control arms.

There is a read me in the file....but...

First unzip the file onto the desktop or whereever....Once that is done drag the "Programs" folder from the CD TO the CD1 Folder in the file you just unziped to your desktop.

For copyright reasons he can't provide the PDF's as far as I know....that is why you copy them FROM the cd to his file so it makes it complete.

Make sense?

Ebay is your best bet, I might try to work something out so we can all download the manual Too many people are buying this software and then reselling it without the proper permission. I'd rather share it then feed our money to some guy on eBay reselling it. Anyone see where I'm coming from?

P.S. Thanks for spotting this and helping me out ps2cho!!

Hey....

I have 2 W124's, one being a 230E saloon and another E280 Estate, I just wanted to ask how you lowered your car, using what springs and shocks and what is the ride like? Soft hard?

Thanks mate...
