I'm not sure what size tires the guys that ran 20s on thier w210s used, all I know is my ride is pretty much slammed and 19s look way small to me now. I'm running 235/35/19s on 8.5s all around. I'm sure a slight stretched tire set up would help you piece it all together. I've heard 4matic's suspension can be a MOTHER. Good luck man.

20's?
255's on a 9" won't fit up front. i don't think a 9" wheel of any size fits the w210 up front even with a 235 tire, with an et of 35 anyway... they will contact the ball joint. 8.5" with et35 is a tight fit w/ 235 series soles. a 235/30R20 on a 20x8.5 should fit, but the ride will be compromised with baloney-skin tires. i totally understand the lack of concern for ride quality if you just wanna roll. even if you could get 255's to fit, expect speedo error of like 5%..that would drive me nuts.
there's a post somewhere of a w210 e55 with 20" monoblock reps..looks good, and it was done as well as it could be done. of course, you'll have to roll your fenders. i've seen fenders rolled well enough that it looks like aftermarket flares.. |
