Happened to me once. Car wouldn't shift, and the thing was stuck in D, couldn't go up or down. Turned off car, waited, turned back on, went away. Dealer never figured out what did it.

Unless you have codes i wouldnt worry too much about it. This tranny is like a computer, every now and then it will have problems which go away when you restart

Mine was done at about 55k mi under the CPO warranty. There's a service bulletin out for this problem. You can do a search in this forum to find that bulletin #. Ask your service manager for a good-will repair, he may give you a good discount.

Actually two DTBs address limp mode/valve body replacement: P-B-27.60.88a JAN07 and P-B-2750/59g MAY09. PM your email and I will send copies to present to Service Manager. Although DTBs are not normally honored after warranty expiration, as suggested they may assist in obtaining goodwill assistance.
