Squeaky Seats

I know its not the most important thing but..does anyone have any ideas to stop the squeaking where leather meets the plastic on the front seats of my E320? When I move in the seat or go around corners its annoying.
This is my first post since becoming a member. Thanks

Mine has done it since I've owned it. Just be glad you don't have drive dynamic seats. Every time I go around a corner, my seats creak when the bolsters inflate.

Annoying.

My first E-Class didn't do that but my current one did. The culprit was the seat belt holder rubbing against the seat. I told my SA about it and they fixed it by putting some extra padding on the seat belt receptacle.

My W220 had the classy "J. Daimler" signature sticker, my W211 has the kind of cheesy cartoon-like "Mercedes" sticker. Seems M-B randomly applies one or the other on their models.

Not sure what this has to do with squeaky seats

Anyway, it seems like the stickers change from time to time. Now (or at least with the very last of the 2009s) they used a clear sticker with a white script.

If you mean this sticker as the "cartoon-like" one, it's actually a historical MB type font. I can't remember which year (1920s) but it's an early one. I kinda of like it.

Actually I was hoping to get that answer.

When I wrote "cartoony" the first thing that sprung to mind was "hmm, maybe it's got a purpose, i.e being from the 20's/30's".

I like it now.

BTW, I've been knocking on wood since my DD Seats don't squeak. I've heard a peep or two from the passenger side, but so far so good.

Err, wait. No wonder I was all disoriented.

I meant to Reply to the "Windshield" Thread, somehow I Replied to this one, hence the sticker comment.

Depending on Model Year and whether MB owned Chrysler at the time.

I had the same problem with my seats. Went to AutoZone got some Velcro, cut to size the soft side of the Velcro and stuck it to the side of the seat belt receptacle that makes contact with the seat.

I've noticed that my seats tend to do a little squeakage when entering or exiting the car, but not much when actually driving. So far, the drive dynamic seats haven't given me much heartache either when they work their magic... Although I don't use my car as a daily driver.
