I honestly dont see the big deal in having metal pedals ? Its under your foot, you dont really see it.. The pedal is out the field of vision for any passengers. For me rubber or metal makes no difference. Just stomp it!

, drew a plan, and sent to them. They made pretty good quality one based on the plan. Last edited by zaxxon; 11-01-2009 at 02:34 PM. |

metal pedals
the E Coupe has metals pedals but sizing is different on the sedan - however an AMG E63 is in & has metal pedals which will fit the E sedan so dealer is getting a set to install for me .... so if you have a sedan there's your answer .... they are under your foot but .... they add a sporty flair ...

What is the advice on these pedals for someone like me whose shoes are slushy from snow/melting ice for what seems to be about 6 months of the year?

Just found some pics of the E63. Looks like it has a dead pedal.

E63 Pedals
Dealer said there are part numbers for the brake and e-brake as they are just covers. The gas pedal is different. The parts guy could not find a part number for the dead pedal.. Looks like it may be a part of the carpet? The dealer is showing different part nos for the E63 and E550 for the carpet, although I wonder if that is because it goes up to the center console. I don't know if the foot print of the console is any different with the console shifter in the E63.
If someone does find a part number for the dead pedal on the E63, please post. Otherwise I think I will get one from Ultimate Pedals. |
