I have a new open box, never installed Quaife QDF9V. I purchased this believing the diff. I installed in my car had 12 bolts. When I removed it to install the quaife quickly discovered it had 10. Now it is up for sale. I know this paticular quaife fits a wide array of vehicles but cant say for certain which because it was suppose to work on a 2004 CLK55 and here we are.

I've sent out a few PM's to some folk that I think are running the same LSD on their CLS55...I'm waiting to hear back but I think it's a fit!!!

Popularity of the QDF9V was brought on primarily by the w211 E55 and spread to other Mercedes models. Being the CLS55 shares virtually everything with the E55 only leads one to believes it does fit. The quick research I did has come up that it does.
Let me know what you come up with and a side comment: there is a difference when the car hooks up with 2 wheels instead of 1.
