Houston, TX - 8/4/07 Night Meet - Free Food/Dyno/Etc...

Being that I am in the market for an E55, I have been lurking here for quite some time. It would be great to meet you all and so I decided to invite all of you in Houston to the next "car event" in early August...

Hey guys, just wanted to post about the "next big" car event here in Houston that is coming up on Saturday August 4th. Racing Solutions (www.racingsolutions.com) has graciously agreed to open their doors on August 4th to host a "sports car" meet at their shop. In addition, they have agreed to provide FREE food to all that show up (pizza) as well as drink. Finally, they have agreed to give away 2 free dyno sessions (2-3 pulls per session) by way of a random drawing.

Date: Saturday August 4th
Time: 7:00 pm - 9:xx pm

After hanging out at Racing Solutions, we will all caravan to Driv-Motoring, an indoor karting facility, who has agreed to shut down for US!

I am doing my best to rejuvinate the Houston street car scene, so please, take the time to show up and do "car stuff".

FYI I just found out that Racing Solutions is an authorized Kleeman distributor and they are currently working on a CLS55 project...

I used to hang out with HPD for a little, but realized I don't really belong with the league. If we can get a few Benz boys to go, I'm down.

newton - if anything, come on down and hang out. There will be several Supraforums, 6speedonline and clublexus members present as well!!! Have some free food, see some beautiful cars, go race some karts...

Newton, no, I currently do not... I have been eye'ing the E55 for quite some time now and after seeing the C63, I may trade the Lexus in on a C to daily.

Quick update! We will be at Racing Solutions from 7-10 pm (as opposed to 9 pm) and then head to Driv for go kart racing! This thing is shaping up to be huge and it looks like the weather is going to be perfect! See you all there!

Just a little video summarizing the Night Meet that Racing Solutions (www.racingsolutions.com) hosted for us here in Houston this past Saturday night. We had around 200 people and 80 cars show up. Ranging from Ferrari, to Porsche, to Viper, to Supra, to Vette, etc...

Thanks to houstonperformancedriving.com and Garrett for all the help on setting this event up. Thanks to Racing Solutions again for being such a gracious host, and thanks to Bret/Steve for strapping all the cars on the dyno!

Keep in mind the next Night Meet will be SEPTEMBER 8th at Racing Solutions. It will include BBQ, Car Show, Music and Models!

Damn Peter......you are everywhere.........

Get either a E55 or CLS55.......simple mods make big power and you will save $30-40k off a new 63......

Had some fun after the night meet at Racing Solutions on 8/4/07. The following was filmed in Mexico afterwards...

There is one typo in that my car runs a 78 mm turbo (not a 72 mm turbo as indicated in the text on the vid). Thanks to Doug at Racing Solutions for putting the vid together!!!

Anthony - yea, no doubt...that is what I'm lookin at...E55 with bolt-ons. I am waiting on Racing Solutions to do the Kleeman package on Bob's CLS55AMG to see what kind of results they get. They will be documenting the whole process from start to finish including dyno before / after. I keep trying to convince him to register here!!!
