I am setting up another run through Times Square on September 12th. We will be meeting at 31 Rt. 303 in Tappan NY at 9:00 and leaving at 11:00 to head into the city. Please post if you are interested in attending and just incase you missed the 1st one we had over 200 cars, all makes and models so all are welcome. We will be meeting after at a place which serves food and all types of beverages. Details will be handed out at the meet. I hope the MBWorld crowd has a good showing!!

Is it going to be as well organized as the last time?
Although the overall experience was fun - it was pretty ridiculous the places that were chosen and the amount of times we were chased out of wherever we were in like 10minutes.
Not to mention after the first meet spot got abruptly broken up it was mayhem and only ab 10% of the people knew where they were going.
The Javits Center is prob the worst spot in history a city owned or state owned property that has 24 hr security and surveillance was just begging to get broken up.
This time everyone should know where they are going if things get out of control in a hurry.
And perhaps you could see in advance how the locals (wherever you are going to meet ) will feel about 200 plus cars showing up wherever you plan.
Getting chased out of car lot after car lot after 10 min like a bunch of teenagers hanging out at 7-11 was not exactly my idea of a good time.
Iron some of these details out and have a real plan and I'm sure lots of MBWorld will support.

Garden state Mall in NJ on Sundays is so empty can hold a few thousand cars.

The meet is on a Saturday and i know the owner of the lot where we are going to be meeting. Nothing to worry about as far as the police are concerned, JT55 where do you host your meets? I would like to attend the next one Bro.

Was that supposed to be a dig? I don't "host meets" bro. I'm too busy with things like Dungeons n Dragons, Star Trek Conventions and Dressing up like a Storm Trooper at Comic Con.

Now if you tell me that your last event was well organized and my comments were unwarranted then I stand corrected.
But I hardly think that even you think that was the case
Many people didnt make it to the first place before it was broken up and only about 1/4 of those made it to the Javits Center before that was broken up I witnessed at least 4 Porsches getting pulled over in Times Sq. and after the Javits about 1/4 of those there made it to the last spot and yes I was one of them.
So obviously I wasn't the only one who was getting a little discouraged with how things were going that night.
Perhaps you have a different take on it but I have one called REALITY.
I wasnt trying to rain on your parade - but you were asking for MBWorld Support and many people here are adults and not kids and would not tolerate the type of nonsense that went on that night. I had people on the highway pulling up to me asking where the hell we were going and frankly I had no idea either. So basically it turned into a Fiasco after the first meet got broken up. All I was saying was maybe if it was better organized with well laid out plans that everyone knew about it would be better for all.

I dont want to hijack his thread i was just stating facts of how things went down there is no one who was there that can dispute what i said.
I was just trying to say that it would be more enjoyable and even bigger if it was better thought out and planned thats all.

This event is going to be huge, bigger than the 1st one but in order for me to accommodate everyone I had to switch the date to the 15th of September. There are too many people that were missing it by a few days so I switched it. The route is really easy and the meeting spot is very easy to get to and has plenty of room for us. I hope to see some of the MBWorld guys on the run!
