FS: CLK63 Black Series Front Bumper & Fenders

Hello to all. I've managed to come across 3 genuine Mercedes Benz body panels consisting of the left and right fender as well as the front bumper. The fenders (used + 6.3 badges) came off of an existing BS (painted iridium silver) and have no damage. The bumper has never been installed or painted. Again, these parts are genuine MB parts with part numbers and "made in germany" embossed on them.

These pieces are a hard find and relatively expensive at the dealership. The bumper alone is over $5000. The people that I think may be interested in this: ultra rich dudes who end up in the median...and the people callously referred to as 'posers.'

Yep, but that's what I have. For significantly less than the MSRP. Make an offer. PM me or elektronman@hotmail.com

PS. If anyone can get obtain any BS parts (bumpers, fenders, side skirts, steering wheels, etc), shoot me an email and I may be able to link you to a buyer. Any ?'s, ask. I can take better pics in the sunlight 2mrw if needed

$5k+ for a front bumper cover??? That sounds just crazy......

I'm curious to know where the silver fenders came from? A wrecked BS? Somebody modify one and remove the parts?

I have a buyer lined up for the bumper next week, so all I have left are the fenders.

Mr. Z, these are MB parts for a relatively uncommon MB, of course MSRP is going to be inflated. As far as the fenders, I don't personally know the owner, but from my understanding the car had very light front end damage and the insurance adjuster went ahead and priced in 2 new fenders even though there's clearly nothing wrong these.

Funny, because I experienced a similar situation last month. I slightly rear ended a BMW with my own E90 328i. The insurance adjuster priced in many parts that I didn't damage. Even a $500 headlamp. Car is fixed, looks like it did when I bought it new in 07, and I didn't have to buy the headlight (or several other $20-$40 parts). Also, an OEM replacement bumper cover was $100-$250. The BMW was over $500. Same material, same shape. Of course I got the genuine Bimmer cover, but just using that as an example to show how inflated 'genuine' parts can be and should be.

I understand but even a retail of $5k..... so if it were realistically sold for $2500 that would still be nuts in my opinion for a piece of molded plastic? My 928 GTS is one of only 406 cars in all of North America and in today's $'s was far more expensive than the BS and even in it's hayday a rear bumper cover (unique to the GTS) was ~$1k and now they can be had for ~$500...... Not trying to rain on your sale here I'm just amazed at the prices.... Best of luck with the sale.

Chuck, back when the 928 GTS was produced, Porsche wasn't the most provitable car company in the world. But they sure have changed now. Check out some of the prices for the 997 GT3/GT3 RS, and AMG's prices all of a sudden look inline. That's the reason why most of these cars depreciate rapidly, can't be kept up by the 2nd or 3rd owner and look/function after a few years accordingly. The prices for parts are determent by MSRP/units produced, and not what the car is going to sell used years down the road.

Thanks for the Porsche comparison and the more technical explanation.

Surely Mr. Z knows about DEPRECIATION. In particular, the BS's depreciation. He's struggling to get $100k for a 2008 model that cost $138k with a little over 1000 miles. Don't get me wrong, this seems like a phenomenal deal (low mileage and white like it should be), but still. On top of that, the car is priced $10k+ over other BS's on ebay. So yeah, you get to experience depreciation first hand. About $50k worth.

Good luck on your venture, Mr. Z. It would be a dream to live in a house like the one you are building, let alone owning it free and clear.

In the meantime, stop hatin on my hustle. All I'm trying to do is link buyers with these genuine parts for less than they would have to spend at the dealer. That's it, bro...

no car on ebay has low miles and that is why they are about 10K cheaper.....to be honest i dont think Chuck deserved that, and i didnt take his comments as something you would be upset at. We all know these cars and parts are expensive, which is not your fault.

No hate from me. Just seems kinda ironic that you are currently taking a significant loss on a car while simultaneously complaining about how much the bumper (of which you are not even the least bit interested in) of the same car costs. No one had replied to this, and you replied twice stressing how overpriced the 'piece of molded plastic' was. It would be different if you were trying to negotiate a price with me, but it seems your comments are deterrent and implicative to say the least. That's all. Like the 'Doc' said, I don't make these prices.

Speaking of which, Doc, chill out man...you're just fueling the flame. Seriously.

Also, leave Obama out of this.

Slow day huh? You have no idea what I paid for my car nor what kind of loss I would take selling it. I'm okay with that and you need to be okay with that too. Perhaps the question should be how did you come by these parts NOOB? I really don't care what you get for them but you're the one who took this thread to the dumper...

okay chuck (i shall no longer refer to you as 'Mr. Z'), you win. Really, your first post was degrading, so you took it there. Obviously questioning the legality of the fenders. I'm a theiving inner city noob who stole these parts off of a random clk63 bs, and therefore much less of a person than you, a senior member who drives many cars and pays for his homes cash. If that's cool with you, then its cool with me. Bottom line, I'm using this site as a business hub, not to make friends. Sorry if you took anything I said personally, and I hope your life gets better. And I say that sincerely :-)

Now THAT was funny!

So you're a site sponsor since you'll be using this site to conduct biz?

Not inferring anything about the legality of where you "came accross" the parts (actually I could care less) just asked a question..... So, where'd ya come accross the parts?
