I am interested. I am ready to buy long tube headers now, but I am still confused. It seems we have three vendors selling them. The MBH headers are absolutely beautiful, but are they worth the extra money over the LETs or the Floored Fabs? Have any been proven to make more power then the others on a modded set-up? I am personally leaning towards the Floored Fabs as they seem to be the best bang for the buck, but I want to do this upgrade once and I want to do it right.

That's unfortunate that your headers from Floored Fab cracked at the welds. What did Chris say when you contacted him? I would be surprised if he didn't offer you some type of compensation or even replace the headers. Every company will have some type of hiccups here and there but how they handle it after the fact will speak volumes. Please post your full experience so we have a idea of what you went through.

Speaking from my own personal experience I have nothing but great things to say about them. I would highly recommend Floored Fab because Chris offers both a great product at a reasonable price.

No but if you're interested I could pm you his email address. This would probably be the best option since he's a very busy man.

was this on floored fab's long tubes or the hem's that vadim asked him to create? i know chris would have made it right if it were his long tubes and i know he even covered (at his own expense) a few of vadim's hem's. either way, you're the first to badmouth floored fab (well, besides his jealous competition).

ff's custom headers and products are on the fastest 55's in the world so you might find some contradictions to any opinion about their quality or chris' service. i've been running floored fab longtubes from chris for 3yrs now and they've been flawless since day one and have always smoked the competition in performance and price. there are nearly no other headers on the market that can compare in craftsmanship...and i can say this because i've seen the insides of every brand header made for our cars!

btw, i'm sorry to post this on a group buy thread...but you can't bash another person's product and not expect some rebuttal.

This is not true... I speak form personal experience and the support was not really there. The LTs in ss are not exactly cheap, and for that price you expect support...

and they do have draw backs.

was you whole experience with out any?

If you would like me to answer this please start a new thread and I'll fire away. I'll give LET/EC respect by getting out of their group buy. I just wanted to comment on the OP statement about Floored Fab.

i don't know all the details or what kind of miscommunication took place but i think your situation was a bit unique since you ordered e55 headers to fit your cls. i don't think anyone could have come up with an easy solution for that over the phone or through email and if chris could have flown around the world to help you i'm sure he would have.

regardless, i hope you got it all worked out and your car is running strong my friend!

That's unfortunate since I am in the market for LTs. How long did they last before they broke? Did they come with cracks or bad welds like this set of headers? The arrows point to hairline cracks

you're quoting someone's post regarding floored fab and you posted some pics...but the headers in your pics definitely don't look chris' headers (or his craftmanship/welds)! are those really ff headers???

What does his weld and craftsmanship normally look like then or should look like? I'm not a welding expert, I'm just asking the OP how his FF headers compared to the ones in the picture for educational purposes.
