A 997 TT most likely.

DJ X is in the house! Yeah, IM getting old. Thats why I quit racing cars and started racing BMX bikes. Trying to stay some what healthy and young.
But I think the BMX is more dangerous.

Here In SoCal @ MB dealer, 08 C63 only 2K miles (P2, MM & Navi, bluetooth, ipod...) for 52K (with CPO). You have to be realistic when pricing your car, under $50K (may be acttract someone). Good luck with your sale.

No offense but KBB or any other book is at best a rough estimate of value. I thought about buying a C63 a month or so ago and found 2 brand new well equipped cars (67,XXX MSRP) that could be bought for $55k (or maybe less; I didn't make an offer). So a used one is probably a 50k or slightly better car at best. That said, one never knows when a buyer may come along willing to pay more because they don't "shop" the market much. GLWS.

I always hate to see great cars go back to the dealer on trade...then we all get screwed. A member did not get a well cared for car, and someone else gets hit for the crazy markup.

But I have a buddie that got an new 09 "out the door" for $55. Now I do not know his options, but....

I am in the market for an '08 but will hold my breath until prices fall into the low to mid 40's. Good luck with the sale/trade-in. Here is one depreciation scale I found for a 2009.

2009 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Costs of Ownership
YEAR 1 $13,483
YEAR 2 $5,964
YEAR 3 $5,216
YEAR 4 $5,683
YEAR 5 $5,395
5 YR TOTAL Depreciation $35,741

Note to self. Never buy a new Benz again. Dealer gets the car tomorrow.

If youre not owning it 5+ years, lease it or buy it 12months+ after release. The depreciation is just deadly. I feel bad for the guys who bought the 08's for $67k and now cant scratch $49k for them 12 months later.

That depreciation schedule above is VERY conservative by the way...much more in reality.

Sorry dood.

take a look at 06 S65s. Begining of 09 you could get one for high $50s-low $60s, now in the low-mid $50s....with under 40k miles. They were $170+k new!

That is, what a 70% loss in value in 3 years and 40,000 miles? HOLLY COW

No doubt man.

Rule #1 of AMG's, never ever buy unless you want to keep the car for 5 years. For every 10k in price above $75k, add another year. Over 100k in my opinion youre literally burning money no matter how long you plan on keeping the car. Do a damn 60 month lease if you have to on that S65, better than taking a $140k hit. OUCH.

The rule goes for top tiered AMGs except they lose value alot faster (Black Series and 65s).

Is that $49,000 because they think you are putting it against another new Benz?

Bad ass car BTW...I'd just keep it and enjoy if you can.
