Dude, re-take English/Grammar classes or something. I got a brain fart by reading that run-on sentence.

How does modding your car to have updated parts make you a Homosexual?

Can you post some pics of your car? I would be interested in seeing the changes.

I would consider installing ONLY the tail lights.

Has anyone done this successfully ??? The front lights and mirrors sound like a ton of work and risk for the reward - no ???

He's also missing a lot of periods and comas apparently. Jeez.

AsmanS550, you are the most pimp [/end sarcasm] modificator on mbworld. You successfully did a complete facelift on an S-class. Big deal. No need to be an ass about it. A lot of people have done much crazier mods than you and are much humbler about it.

By the way, where are the pics??? I call bluff till I see it.

I saw 2010 S couple days ago and don't see any reasons to change taillights to new style. I think old one looks better.

JonMBZ---Well here are the pictures. It looks like the tail lights might work, but for the headlights I am not really sure what would have to be done to get it to work.

Did you manged to get them working on 07 s550. waiting your advise

Mine '07 is at the dealer right now, new lights aren't compatible with the '07 Rear SAM (signal activation/acquisition module which controls the lights). The problems with 2010 LED lights on the '07 are as follows:

1. New lights fit, but only the bottom two rows of the LEDs for brake and running lights turn on. The top two rows do not light up at all.

2. After 20-30 minutes, the entire brake circuit and running lamp circuits turn off and stay off, left light goes first, right rear goes second. If you let the car sit for a few hours - the lights can turn on again.

We're trying to re-flash the old rear SAM with new firmware from Benz from 2010 models, and if that doesn't work - I'm going to purchase the new rear SAM from 2010 year model and have the dealer update the SCN coding/re-flash it to work in my car.

I might have more info tomorrow, will post.

Do u have any idea how much that will be? I was about to order the headlights today but now I am hesitant. According to someone else the rear lights were not as difficult to modify.
