I do have it on my car, plus the TelAid also tracks your car through GPS. So I guess the benefit of having it is in the event that someone stills your car and store it in a garage, the radio signal will still be traceable. Also I have the top of the line Lojack with the remotes, if the car is moved more than I believe 12 inches the system calls the police and the remote is triggered.

I have it installed on the wife's BMW, I have been very deep into the car in my mods, and still haven't found it, but I know it's active. It's pretty cheap piece of mind for me.

we have it in the 98 and 01 car, but i dont even know if we have the paperwork for it , i mean we would have to do a search of the house.
i think they instal it in the rear seats or under it. i remember when we got one of thecars, i came outside and saw the seat out.

Why bother if you have TelAid. I think TelAid is potentially much better since it you car can be located anywhere there is cell phone coverage. This does not require the local police to have any special equipment. TelAid will report the vehicle location via telephone to the police.
