This is very simple.
Another Raison d'etre for the left.

Just something else they can bash those evil corporations for and the right/conservatives.

Without it, what else do they have? Nothing. So until the left finds another little coat tail to jump on, it will be global warming. It may be negative 3 degrees outside at their conference, but the world is warming.

Next year it will be the poisoning of our pets by Chinese companies.

The Mainland Chinese are Socialist brothers and a subjugated Minority in the Great Satan. It would be a breach of solidarity to criticize them.

I guess if you live in New Jersey you dont worry much about the enviroment.
Thats kind of an Oxymoron.

When the sea level goes up about 20 Feet in the next 50 years and most of New York is under water. Then maybe we can discuss it again ?

Hey guys how is that global warming in New Jersey today ? Freezing your butts off I hope. Another top down day in Cali

You should already begin to starting making pre-paid envelops to send your taxes to

True, we don't give a rat's ass about it, it works and we're ok. You see we have more important things to think about than what shade of chartuese you will be using as you ascot. You pussies out there can't handle a cool breeze or a wet road let alone a brisk day.

How bout we place bets now....New York goes into the swim first, or SoCal slides right off the faultline into the Pacific.

And If you continue to drive around with your new breasts exposed we'll have to call CHP. Going to cause an accident with your 50+ trangender self whether the titties are new or not.

Missed your foul mouth on the board. So how cold is it ?
Just think. All that nice salt is rotting your car too.

Surely you jest, there isn't a chance in hell that is happening. Have you even read any of the research?

Good to see you are back. This debate is about the death knell of MAN MADE Global Warming. None of us can answer for the cycles of Mother Earth any more than we can answer for the moods of our wives.

Remember the Golden Rule; Smile when Smiled at, Hide at all other times.

Yes, I'm here. I see that your new years resolution had nothing to do with not being an A$$hole anymore.

So you continue this childish state bashing becasue you aren't capable of carryng a thought beyond "duh [drool from mouth] it's warm here....duh. really, really warm here. duh [more drool and knuckles on ground] I'm going for a drink. Duh....did I say how warm it is here...duh. You're all haters.Duh...because it's warm here."

Just because That SoCal sun has turned the space between your ears into jello, doesn't mean I really give a crap whether it's 72 or 14 degrees.

As for burning landfills, they don't exist, how are those buring neighborhoods of yours?

Happy New Year!

Right on time, as predicted, the 11 year solar active cycle is over, now for 11 years of transition into 11 years of quiet.

Anyone see the South Park episode "Two Days Before the Day After Tomorrow"? They totally mock the global warming craze.

Really? Ya think? Next time you are at a Greenie Rally.. just take a look around at the other little outfits supporting the same agenda. I won't say whom they are.. just do a little research.

I want to see it, especially now after finally just having seen the pathetic movie which it parodies, The Day After Tomorrow.

Now, granted, we knew what was coming in general and rented it despite the words "global warming" all over the cover, mainly for the Blu-Ray effects (sorry LRM, I know you hate Blu-Ray!).

But, the grandstanding attempt at Gorian brainwashing was even more pervasive and ridiculous than we feared. Between the phony drama, lousy science, Bush/Cheney clones and even illegal immigration preaching, this self righteous movie making team could turn a neighborhood chess game into a political saga.

Et tu Brute? Blu Ray schmoo Ray. You'll all be watching downloadable Hi Def in two years anyway. Blu Ray is just Son'y way of making up for lost R&D on Beta, MD, SACD, DAT, ATRAC and countless other hairnrained schemes.

I mean c'mon, the thing doens't even work yet. Forget gloable warming! Blu Ray is the conspiracy!!!

Yeah I saw that movie too-it was great. Global catastrophie in what, 36 hours?

Yup, about the time it takes for one of the Gorian cult members to wash and detail the Escalade!

I know, I know. You have got to see this movie. It is freakin' hilarious.

As if to counter the abundant evidence you just observed by sticking your head outside for 2 seconds, they invent this scenario where, because of the damage the Kyoto-avoiding Americans primarily have done to the environment, unpredictable weather patterns result. One such pattern sends most of North America into an ice age! People freeze to death! All because people in California drove gas guzzling SUVs to see the Goracle speak!
