BINGO! I have NEVER been able to discuss global warming without someone accusing me to be a shill for the oil companies or some kind of religious "denier". Actually, I have yet to meet anyone "normal" who believes in global warming and has studied the subject. Even hard core enviro-nuts always spit out that "2000 scientist agree and you know nothing".

Notice how quiet the religion is these days? Try telling someone who is shovelling ten feet of snow in below zero weather that we are causing "global warming".

A few years ago, the religion changed their tune. They use to call it global warming but realized that there could be cooling. So to be relevent and re-invent themselves for ALL occasions, they started to spout "human caused climate change".

I am waiting to see the first official response as to how human cause a 1 degree in global tempertures in one year. The spin is going to be very interesting. Of course it will be bullsh!t but the media wil lap it up and it will take a life of it's own. Actually, I sould manipulate some data, spin a nice semi-believable story with a catastrophic ending, get the media to spread it and then tell the world it was just straight BS. THAT would do more harm to their religion the a million legitimate studies.
