He is in Irvine.

Abuse@sbcglobal.net, ipadmin@att.com is where you guys (MBWorld) can complain. Any lawyers here know what type of legal action can be taken?

It's not Bell California. You probably got this from an online IP tracer (which 9 out of 10 times the info is incorect)

Theres your info. Include this in the complain (ppp-69-233-95-213.dsl.irvnca.pacbell.net) and they will catch the guy.

P.S. I'm confident the info that I provided was correct because as you can see in the bold he connected to the Irvine California server (ISP server is in Irvine)

Investigation done.

I don't know how fair it is to accuse BLTSrv just because the IP address is Irvine....even with the evidence pointing in that direction - I would feel uncomfortable if anyone accused me of such a disgusting PM attack simply because the IP Address was traced to Brooklyn NY.

However, it would not surprise me if indeed it was BLTSrv because of past experiences of his behaviour and conduct, to me and to other members.

He did send me very rough emails which were forwarded to mods at the time - so I sure would not be surprised.

Easiest way to find out where the IP address is from (general).

go to Command Prompt and type "tracert {ip addres}"

Command prompt is the black screen in windows (Start>Run>Type "CMD")

tracert = Trace Route

Next week we will learn how to do port scans and see what ports the user has open and learn the vulnerabilities those ports have.
