It's not "material" it was a question. Interrogatives, too tough to comprehend for Yankees fans.

Absolutely, Rabble rousing is fun. And there is no rabble quite so easy, and fun, to rouse as Yankees fans.

I can smell the jealousy wafting up even over the internet. Or else it's the chicken bits I dropped into the keyboard.

Someone asked as to why this thread was moved to OT. Why even ask? This is an OT topic. Ooo..this thread is getting down and dirty.

Anyways, congrats to NY and best of luck to them.

Carry on..

The only thing I am jealous of is that you guys got Texeira. We are still up 2-0 this decade.

Christie most likely, but I will hold my nose while doing it. The other guy (Daggett) hasn't really gotten my attention. But, Christie just strikes me as a cheese burger slamming scum bag.

Standard Jersey choice I guess, The scumbag you have now or the yet to be proven scumbag.

I'm surprised it's such a close race for your vote. Daggett has already been exposed as a Corzine plant poised to be granted a plum job if Corzine gets back in. Christie will be in a position to replace the majority of the state supreme court before the term ends, which means sweeping out the fools who mandated you and I pay property taxes until we go broke.

I missed the Daggett is a plant story. Link? I perused his platform and he annoyed me with his stance on Gun Control. His tax policy is somewhat neutral for me. his City and School's policies are a mixed bag of recycled Bologna and gibberish.

I just don't like Christie. I would have been much happier if the other Republican had won the primary. I liked his policies and he seemed like a much more decent human being. Christie talks alot about ending double dipping and kicking part timers off the State beney and pension plan, which is great and his tax policies are spot on for an iterative "do something but not too much" approach. But that's about all he has.

Yes, back on topic. Well, much of what Dagget said was during a radio interview on 101.5 where he was put on the spot to vow not to take a position in the Corzine admin if asked, to which he refused. And then, when asked to identify where he got almost $400k in campaign funds to reach the matching elegibility level, he refused to disclose.
Now it isn't hard proof, but when you connect the dots on a guy who popped up out of nowhere...
At any rate, his position is unequivocally a tax bomb. Not even a glazed attempt at any sort of spending cuts. <sound of buzzer>

THANK YOU. I find all three candidates less than acceptable. Guess I might pencil my own name in.

Chris Christie leads Jon Corzine 42-38, a slight increase from a PPP poll two weeks ago. Independent Chris Daggett is at 13%.

Christie is the only one that said anything about cutting spending.

Go Yankees!

That almost didnt stay in the glove , I wonder what expression he would give if it wasnt in the glove at the end .
I dont get it, professional players trying to act like kids . Playing with confidence vs cocky attitude, this applies to all professional sports.

Had he dropped the ball I'm sure the play at second would have still been there. I didn't see that as cocky, just thought he was having a little fun.

A lot of players do it(quickly snatching the catch, trash talking, blatantly hitting batters) why cant they just blay ball.
