slk32 partout feeler
im trying to decide whether or not to buy back my slk32 and part it out.
i would like to gage the interest in the engine interior body panels etc. if theres enough interest ill do it. if not ill walk away and search for my next 32.
prices will be amazingly low!!! im not looking to get rich but move enough parts to get my money back and give anyone who wants it a chance to get some nice stuff at a decent price. sort of give my 32 another life
ok i have to make a decision by monday so let me know

how much miles? on the engine? i would be interested in the complete engine tranny, ECU TCU, intercooler, wire harness etc..

amgc like i said before not looking to spend weeks taking the small stuff off. buy then eng and trans and you can have the tips for free!

its the same diff as all slk r170 cars with the 3.07 gearing. bolt in half shaft axles

So you're telling me that the SLK32 doesn't have the larger 210mm ring gear found in the C32 and that the entire 170 lineup has this? This is different from say the lesser c320s, c230, etc that have the 198mm ring gear. Obviously the larger one is to handle the addt'l torque. Is this a c-class trait only?
i need a 210mm 3.06 ring gear/pinion. i would buy the pumpking housing, but not axles and all.

i can tell you bigger or not the open diff on the slk32 is the weak link in the car. having seen 6 diffs wasted on the xfire/slk32 cars thats why we commisioned wavetrac to build us a lsd.

thanx i appreciate the concern. im fine the car took the whole lick and i walked away without a scratch. i figure this way the 32 lives on in someone elses m/b . if theres not enough interest i can just walk away. ins paid enough to get another 32

Ok appreciate you knowing enough to realise it's the smaller (198mm) ring gear. My c350 has the larger aka c32 differential and am trying to acquire a shorter final drive ratio than my 2.82... and 3.06 is the only option for the larger diff.
thats retarded as to why the slk32 and xfire guys didnt get the larger diff. as i said, my 06 c350 even got it.

look fellas read this thread please . IM NOT PARTING OUT THE LITTLE STUFF! the engine trans go whole with everything attached. interior as a whole. sheetmetal will be pulled if you need it. other than that im crushing the car once i recoup my buyback money.
i hope this clears it up. i wont be answering emails for cigar lighters door locks or that 10mm bolt that holds the widget on. thanx but no thanx
if you want the engine trans ecu tcu for 3000$ plus shipping call me. if the interior is on your wants list then let me know. if nobody wants anything of value then ill take what i want and crush it.
