This kind of a situation is nothing new on this forum. Fortunately it does not happen that often, but it does happen. Some of you may remember a person named Harris. He used to be a trusted sponsor and supplied good quality parts to a lot of people. But one day it all came apart.
Here is link to his story.
http://forums.mbworld.org/forums/c32...customers.html
The lesson is "trust but verify". Use a credit card and don't let things go too long before making a complaint. It is unfortunate, but it does create a difficult business environment for existing sponsors. I would still continue to buy from the forum sponsors but always followings my "use a credit card" rules.

Damn, that sucks... hopefully you can dispute your credit card charge if that is what you used.

Hopefully Vadim will pull out of this mess. He is supposed to have a set of headers available for our cars soon.

What's he up to now? He used to sell cars (Mercedes). A sad story indeed.

And the owner of RENNtech used to work at the AMG factory; so I trust him and his own company to take my $$ and tune my MB C63 AMG.

As an MB owner, who can we trust these days to help with mods? Sounds like only the big boys will survive. Kleeman and Renntech.

Why was my thread about PC merged into 1 while this one allowed to be duplicated and shotgunned with the same identical message in 11 different sections?

Moderators or Admins, Why are'nt you guys consistent?

And don't tell me it's because he did not list his vehicle....This is SPAM to me!!!

My reason for posting "My experience with Vadim Fedordezyn"

My reason for posting "My experience with Vadim Fedordezyn" was not to try and force Vadim to pay me my money, (I went thru pay pal and my credit card, which are actively working on this matter) but to inform all the members here about the good "AND BAD" experiences we have with the people who solicit on this site. Only by doing this, are we able to make a more rational decision on who to give our business to and who not to. Let me state that I waited to the last possible day to put a complaint in to pay pal ( which is 45 days) giving Vadim enough time to straighten out this situation ( my personal feeling is that Vadim was stalling for the 45 day period to pass). It is one thing to say there are some type of delays in shipping, but this was not the case. I was given tracking numbers for headers that he said were sent, which when verified with UPS turned out to be a lie. I was also told the Air Box was " ALREADY SHIPPED " from Canada. It too, was NEVER sent. Once I verified I was lied to ( on numerous occasions ), the trust was gone and there was no need to give him any credibility. ( I understand how some members here are backing Vadim for thier past good experiences with him, I only wish I could have said the same ). Times change, sometimes people do too !

I don't know what happened but I doubt that you are talking **** like some say. Most of the the time it's the people that didn't get f!!ked talking. It's not their money!

I'm with you on this one. Deadbeat vendors need to be axed, and the best way to do this is through a thread like this. Anyone in this thread claiming to keep this private, etc...is a complete moron.

Why is the original thread in the C63 forum got deleted? Moderator, I understand you're trying to protect your sponsors but my doing that in this case, you're becoming an accomplice of this crook. Let people share what they have to say and you'll judge by yourself if it's worth keeping this sponsor.

we need to have feedback rating system on sponsors...
customers who had experience with forum sponsors, send scan copy of receipt as proof to admin/mod and be able to post a review; and let all members be able to read these feedbacks... this way, we don't have to have drama threads and let the members make their own decisions... not everyone gets to read these type of threads to be warned especially if u hardly check forum sections that isn't about your cars...

The MB community is not the only victim of Vadim's theft and poor engineering. Vadim was the proprietor of the SHOshop that catered to a Yamaha engine and the chassis of a Ford Taurus. He put together many products for the car. A lot of people were screwed by him. Many just lost money, others lost their engines. He put together a super charger kit with a pig rich tune, heavy duty valve springs that would break and drop a valve into the cylinder, stroker cranks that would shear in half, base ground camshafts ground inaccurately.... to get to the point.... Do not buy anything from him!
