Any rear aftermarket bumper inserts or pads for the R?

Hello everyone. I just purchased a r320 and was wondering if they make an insert or pads where you can install to the top of the rear bumper to protect the paint. I did search both for aftermarket and factory but coming up empty. I want to protect the paint on the rear bumper because it seems that my wife has scratched the top of it when she removed the stroller and luggages. So with all the hauling that we are planning to do, I would like to have something there to protect it. So if anyone has any info. of where I can order one please post a link. Preferably in the U.S.

I'm guessing you're looking for something similar to the cover from the AMG sport appearance package - which carries the theme of the interior "ribbed chrome lip" to the exterior ledge ... yes mine is scratched too from too many hockey bags being unloaded.

I did see this as an aftermarket item somewhere, maybe europe. If the dealer can't help, you could find an updated rear bumper cover from an '07 or newer and have it painted to match...Me I'd like one from an R63. Then just a matter of the quad tips...

I finally found a site that has what I needed. I tried calling the dealership and explain to them what I was looking for. They quoted me $230. I decided to order from eagleday since it is only $80.

Please notice that you will not be getting a "Chrome" strip when you order this one from "Eagleday". It is black in color. I purchased one thinking it would be chrome/silver like the factory ones..it was not, it is black in color. There is a Note at the bottom of the description that sais it is "Black" in color. I installed it anyway, and I am living with it. Really doesn't bother me. It is a strip that sticks down with 3M tape, made out of plastic, not metal, colored black with silver vertical stripes.
