Front License Plate issues

My r500 has two silver "buttons" on the front bumper...the spacing of them makes me think that they were for a european plate....I have yet to put a front plate on because I don't know where to mount it....here's my question....is there a license plate converter that would allow me to mount my Illinois plate using these two silver "buttons"? i try to avoid front plates as i think it's not attactive.
rather than giving out fix it tix, recently the parking meter guys are happy to collect $25 for the city. unless this gets dramatically worse, i'll keep taking chances - so far, about 5 tix for lacking front plates in the past 20 yrs.

Agree, not attractive at all and easy target for radar gun.

Thanks god, my PA state does not require front license plate.

Florida does not require a front plate either. I removed the front plate holder the day I got the car.

Part for CL 600

Thanks for the help on the plate, I'm working on avoiding a ticket. I did check with the dealer for the front plate holder and they came back with $250.00.

By the way have you located a good servicing center? or a place for acquiring parts?

Like me, I dont like front plates either. It ruins the looks of the R. 3 months before my warranty expires I was pulled over and was given a warning only. That is in NJ. Went to my SA to have the front plate installed (still on warranty) Thank God!
