Just bought the extended warranty for my R

I just bought a Chrysler MaxCare extended warranty from Michael Case.

My contract is 5 years/70K miles including Tires and Wheels Hazard Warranty. Price is very good but it seems like Chrysler is jacking the price up VERY soon.

If you are on the sideline and thinking about Chrysler warranty, may be you should do it now before the price increases. Only concern I had in the past was the stability of Chrysler. It seems like the dark days are over thanks to the bailout.

I have the MaxCare and I believe it covers most of the items except the normal wear and tear.

here is more info:

Regarding the price, I have just PM you since I don't know is it ok to post it on the forum. But I believe the price is going to increase quite significantly after this week.

Could you PM the price too for the various plans?

Thanks

I just took the R500 in today...was getting 10 seconds of clicking sound under the hood, then the display said "wait briefly" w/ the arrow pointing up. i thought it might be pump for suspension, and it turns out it was the front right strut - supposedly $1300, yikes. thank goodness it's CPO, and yet another reminder these newer MBs w/ lots of electronics are not going to be as reliable as the prior generation/traditional suspensions.

Can you PM me with the price of the Chrysler warranty also? Thanks!

Mine has 46K so I'll be seriously looking into warranties soon. Is this the best warranty for these cars? Does anyone else have any other reccommended options?

I cannot tell is it the best. But according to my search on this forum (not only the R), there are many happy customers with the Chrysler extended warranty.

did you get a better price from Michael than shown on the chryslerfactoryplan website?

does the MB dealer honor this warranty or do you go to a chrysler dealer? (i know this seems like a dumb question but there is nothing on the site to indicate that you go directly to a MB dealer).

I call Michael directly and his price is better. Regarding the dealership, I talk to my MB service advisor and he told me they take it all the time. They will take care of all paper work on approval and payment.
