probably dealer
if you bought it at lincoln, then likely the car was from an auction, and the keys were all lost. So lincoln prolly ordered 1 new key, and never took it to dealer for programming.
long story short, dealer needs to set that key to the keyless system as only 2 keys are allowed to be in the keyless go memory. and you need to order the button. No way around it i'm afraid. But if you're lucky enough to still be in warranty, just take it in, say the key all of a sudden stopped working? |
