What gets me is they did it (AMG model) with the R but they left the GL out in the cold. What gives?

The R Class is not bad looking at all, it is no where near as fugly as the W210 E Class or the original SLK and that amg engine sounds beautiful

It is basically a car-a-van and if i were in the market for a multi passenger family mover i would have to go with the GL but the G is still my favorite big boy from mercedes

Doesn't look bad at all, but I wonder how many people out there would pay that much for it? I mean, it's usually soccer moms driving these things. Well, at least that's what I see around my area.

Wow. I just... I feel like I just saw a train wreck and can't stop looking. I'm speechless. That is the ugliest and most ridiculous thing ever to come out of a car company. 90k?!!?!? I would be embarrassed to drive that thing.

I have the 350 and I would drop the cash for a 63 in a heart beat. I guess you would have to call me a soccer dad, since I coach my kids soccer team, but there is no substitute for the room, and class to move not only your family but for also taking your boss and his boss to lunch as well as their assistants and having them really like your car.

The 63 is a hot AMG, and you could easily run with most sports cars with a 0-60 in the 4.9-5.1 sec range. It's a 510-hp mini-van/ass stomper...with room for 6.

It all lies in the eye of the beholder. Whatever is ugly for somebody could be nice looking for somebody else.

I agree. I just can't imagine putting that much dough on that thing.

I just can't get excited about the R-Class, no matter what. I agree they're nice inside. Perhaps, after state budget cuts are in place and I start transporting corpses for autopsy to Huntsville, AL, I can talk them into getting a used one for, say, $17,500?

What would feel worse is you getting passed up by a "mini-van" and realizing you just got whipped by a soccer mom.

90K!!! I mean I know the car is rare however I don't believe it to be worth that. Get an ML, won't regret it.

I'd totally buy an R63 just for the sake of beating some sports cars on the street and laughing at them. It would be priceless to see their faces.

I have seen two Veyrons; one on PCH and one on the 405, I have seen Enzos, Carrera GTs, SL65s, an Apollo, even a McLaren F1... I still haven't seen a damn R63. What gives?

Oh you know. The R63 is very rare, I am pretty sure I will see an SLS before a R63. lol.
