Evosport modded W251 R63 AMG (pics)

Here's a recent R63 we did some work on, including our Power Pulley, intake system and ECU upgrade. The car also had some exterior work done to it as well as seen in the pics below.

Enjoy...

The stock wheels have a more aggresive look than these multi-spoke wheels but none the less nice R63.

I would agree with your tint guy. The blue tint on the AMG's is the reason it looks reflective in some shots. I didn't think it would be this bad though.

no xenon? BTW it is a V251 R63. I thought you put W251 because it was a special R63 that was a ROW vehicle. Saw the real W251 R63 in germany, looks a lot better i think.

No its not a W251, you have a V251... USA only got the V251s. W251 is a short wheelbase R-class. The SWB (W251) R63 looks much better than the LWB (V251) R63. Also more than 30 were built

oh my facts are straight not sure why you disagree. Ask any Mercedes enthusiast and they will tell you W prefix is std wheelbase V prefix is Long wheelbase. Oh hey look its a W251! Look how stubby it looks! USA only got the V251 (long wheelbase R-class). Not sure how many times I need to repeat that.

Love the Stubby R63. As for the v vs. w debate WIS shows exactly what Kardon just said. People should research before chest pounding.

Drives: my wife crazy
Maybe it looks better in person but the stance does not look aggressive enough for my liking.

Why did AMG overlooked the brakes? The calipers look puny compared to the the s55k,c63,s65/63,cls55/63...

Yep the R-Class is a V, I would like to see one of these on the track. I bet everyone would get a kick out of it.

Kar Don is right. The R's in the US are V designation for the long wheelbase. But really, its splitting hairs for no real reason.
