Drives: 1994 Mercedes Benz s420

1994 s420 Check Engine Light on

Check engine light came on, says check the computer diagnostic center and read the LED codes etc,. Can't find the diagnostic center. Was told it was on the firewall on drivers side, nothing there, looked in box on passenger side but only found a connector but no LED's Thanks
