LOL.. who would buy a copy anyway? you can copy them on any apple computer for the price of a blank DVD.

Whats the actual revision of it, they normally come as like 2006.2, 2006.1, 2005.3, etc, never heard of a V.7 before.

V7.0 seems to be a new MB designation for MB part number BQ 6 46 0232, released December 2007, the disc intended for the 2008 calendar year. V7.0 may be a successor to the older naming scheme of year and release number during the year (e.g., 2006.2).

I ordered my disc directly from NavTeq; it has all of the Mercedes labeling, including the referenced part number, v7.0, and another part number - A211 827 17 65. The "BQ" designation is usually a kit designation, probably designated when the disc is ordered as part of an entire nav system; the "A" designation, as I understand, is an individual part number.

However, NavTeq designates the disc on its site as "MBUSA/Harman Becker DVD 2008 (NTG1)." The label affixed to the shrink wrap also includes "North American DVD PKG, Part # BQ 6 46 0232."

Believe me, I can't make sense of it. But all three are exactly the same disc. If MB had kept its scheme consistent, it would probably be 2007.2, but that doesn't show anywhere on the labeling I have.

Might be interested if it can bring up some information that my old CD system would show. I now have a 2005 E320 but the #4 CD map (2004 and later) in my BMW 740 would show the neighbor where I work. I was a bit shocked not to see it on the DVD.

Check the NavTeq site at http://www.navigation.com/is-bin/INT...llProducts=YES for Mercedes discs, and be aware that a "2008" disc may be released in late 2007.
