I am considering buying the Renntech Lowering Module V2. The concept of having a remote to be able to control height on the fly is something appealing to me. My dealer is telling me to do the washer lowering method. Any input will be appreciated.

Great thing is its 100% reversible and doesnt require any cutting of the factory parts. I LOVE IT! ITS THE BEST ATTENTION GRABBER OF ALL TIMES!!!!!

These are pics at the shop the setup was done.

This is an older pic. The car actually tucks the wheel full under the fender.

More pics up soon. Please let me know what you guys think
Looks good!!

I've heard nightmares about the washer method, esp if they're not installed right.

Get the lowering links, its fully adjustable and costs alot cheaper than Modules

how much would a super slam system cost? looks baller

i know a lot of people including myself that did the washer, and never heard of any complaints or problems. the funny thing is the only people that complained or talk about problems are the ones that have never done this.

Good Luck either way

ok there have been a few questions, sorry i havent logged on in a couple days. The kit is 100% controlled by you. the slam only works when the car is off, with car in park for safety reasons. Doesnt mean it slams everytime you stop and park the car. 2nd the reason my car doesnt look slammed is because im on 22" wheels. With the factory wheels it was literally a few inches off the floor. And finally the kit i have pics of it but its basically a big black box with a TRUE BLISS CUSTOMS logo and says SUPER SLAM on it. cant really see much. Also i tried to do the washer deal and i wasnt impressed. Im not on here trying to say anybody's setup is bad i just want to show off my ride

Hey O2SLAM,

Got a question the slam only works when you have the car in park? meaning you cannot set it like a rentech module at a certain level then drive it that way?

Oh that was just a joke... I don't have any such kit installed.

I just dropped all 4 corners to the lowest setting using the Mercedes SDS computer. It raises back up as soon as the car is started and moved.

OK the slam kit cannot be operated unless in park because i was told you will damage a lot of components. My car sits on the tires when its slammed. I don't know if they can or cannot set it where you can slam it and drive that's something that would have to be discussed with the shop. Also the shop installed the front bumpers. I had a small collision and when i was going to change out my bumper I went to them, its a 2004 or 2005 S55's front bumper. They did all the fab work and installed it. I do know the front corner "mouldings" had to be changed to the S55 mouldings which are a little bit longer i believe.

ohh and the license plate LED's were $45 for both sides installed.

Call these guys they are very nice people and can help with all questions (like specifications) and will better describe the kit than i can!

shop is called True Bliss Customs in burbank 818-524-BLISS

And the point of saying you have the SuperSlam kit installed would be?
