Just had The "SUPER SLAM" kit installed on my car. comments please

Hey guys, I just had the "super slam" kit installed on my car and im loving it. Just wanted to get some opinions. Basically the kit allows me to slam the car all the way to the ground when in park. Great thing is its 100% reversible and doesnt require any cutting of the factory parts. I LOVE IT! ITS THE BEST ATTENTION GRABBER OF ALL TIMES!!!!!

These are pics at the shop the setup was done.

This is an older pic. The car actually tucks the wheel full under the fender.

More pics up soon. Please let me know what you guys think

what is involved in this kit? did you pull your arches to make additional clearance for your wheels to tuck?

The Kit is made and distributed by the shop/company that only touches my car. I don't really know how exactly works. What i do know is none of the factory parts are cut. As far as the clearance goes, nothing was pulled. Initially the kit was installed with factory tires. Then I installed the 22's myself. And the car wouldn't slam properly. Went to these guys who installed the SuperSlam kit and they fitted in properly.

No computer errors yet. Had it on my car for 6 months now. I haven't had any issues with it. And the great thing is that it only slams fully when the car is parked with the ign turned off. Its a great setup.

Is it against MBWORLD's rules to post up info of the shop product details and pricing or is it cool?

is it like a custom air setup? can you choose your driving height? most importantly, how does it drive?

No its not a custom air suspension, it uses all factory parts. Once the car is parked with the ign. off it allows me to use the "SS" option (SuperSlam) to sit the car to the floor. Once the car turns on, it views car too low and immediately raises car to factory (driving) ride height.

I will contact the shop to see if they are willing to ship out the kit, in the meanwhile as far as I read on the forums, there has to be a sponcership for vendorship and i dont want to get bashed on or banned from MBWORLD.ORG

Can a moderator please chime in and inform me about vendorship pricing and requirements so i can pass it on to the shop so if they want to ship out the "SS" kit.

or can anybody direct me to the moderator??

Looks tight, expect to replace your pump soon. You will burn out ur factory pump. Its not designed to constantly raise and lower (that much movement height) on a daily basis. Average movement its designed for is maybe .5inch to 1inch. Unless you raise the car using the button, which I still don't recommend everyday. But then again f**** it, it looks hot and a pump is only $600 and comes with a one yr warranty and you can put it in yourself.

You can actually get the pump now new oem for only $260 , not bad considering some people used to pay like $1000

maybe it's just me, but i think if you're going to slam a car, you should slam it while it's rolling too. otherwise, what's the point? the fact that the car is only super low when parked and not while rolling seems poseur-ish to me.

and for those who are going to flame me, yes, i do drive super low, but not in a mercedes.

the car can be driven on smaller diameter wheels, when i had the smaller wheels it would drive, but its not a good idea to be driving that low no matter where you are. #1 you cannot turn, #2 while driving with the airstruts 100% empty will damage them. Ive had my share of cars on air suspension most people don't do air suspension for more than just having the ability to pancake the car. I might be wrong but its what I know. I personally love it. As do most people posting here.

(remember i said it would drive (as in it physically was posible) but i never drove or asked the shop if its even an option. I just dont think it would be a good idea.

bulbs on the lic plate are L.E.D's again done by True Bliss Customs. They have done everything on my car. Including the soundsystem, the SS kit, the front 03+ S55 AMG front bumper install, Xenon conversions, smoked out taillights etc.

I do not have any errors. No problem either. they are quite bright.

Is there anyway you can find out which bulbs they are? I'll buy them from bliss if they're willing to ship. Thanks.
