Recommendations for a double din radio

Thanks for checking out this post, need some help my radio no longer gets reception so i figure i use this to get a new radio. As you guys know that we dont have many options because of this size. I want o keep the cost around a 1000, so can anyone point me in the right direction.

I know i cant use the amps but are the speakers still usable?

Thanks again

I am in the process of installing the Avic Z110BT...you can get for about $1100 on ebay. I am just having a devil of a time finding the woodgrain doubledin bezel dash kit, and someone to install in the Cleveland, OH area.

i have seen the woodkit on ebay as short as a month ago. I just did a search and was not able to find it. The part comes from China so i am sure they still make it. just keep a eye on ebay and you will find it. good luck with your radio install. FYI they also make a conversion for your steering wheel adapter also. Not sure where to find it but its out there.

You can use the original speakers yes, but keep in mind the bose speakers are 2ohm speakers, so find an appropriate amp or be VERY careful if your going to run a 4ohm amp and overload.

And the steering wheel control kit is made by PAC, http://www.pac-audio.com/Products.aspx?CategoryId=29 , but it is not a SPECIFIC MB S500 harness, its a general CANbus harness, and youll be out in the dark as far as what to wire where...
