Ok, here are mine, even though the other S55's make mine look inferior.

I'm not against modding my S55 to correspond with the 03+ S55's style, but I can't get grasp the 03+ brake lights. They loosely resemble the Mercury Montego setup. Just my opinion.

Nice door sills

Actually, since the earliest Montego(05) came out after s55ks, its the Montego's lights that resemble our lights

Very true, however, I was trying to be discrete with my Montego knowledge.

Hey guys,
I was riding behind an s500 today with an AMG badge. They car was beautiful but I thought it was tacky to pose. Many people don't know what they are looking at when they see it but.

Its not cool to fake anything.

First...everything!

First post...

My first Mercedes (actually I bought it for my lovely bride)...

Which also makes it my first (of what I now hope is more than this one) AMG.

'04 S55. 34K current miles, one previous owner, flawless!

I'm here in information gathering mode and looking for help getting up to speed. I mod EVERYTHING, but first things first; protection is most important to me as far as this ride is concerned.

I'm planning on a clear bra install shortly, but my first and most important step is a warranty. Lots of information here so I'm looking for the best, for my best. I have an idea, but recommendations, ideas, guidance, etc., are very much appreciated.

Thanks!

For warranty check out autowarrantybroker.com. I have their coverage. I've taken the car in a couple of times now without having to pay a penny. One of the repairs was a $8k+ repair for a supercharger replacement.

I have had this car for about a year now and although I like the look with 20" rims it does effect ride quality some. If you reduce your tire pressure to improve the ride you risk bending a rim because of the low profile tires. I was wondering if guys with 19" rims have the same problem?

So how did you manage to retrofit the Supercharger?

VIP Emporium demo car...

Just finished our S55 demo car:

Full Junction Produce everything...nearly all of it had to be modified since the JP aero is made for 2002 and prior (bumper moldings, sensors, upper front bumper area). That and modifying the rear bumper to maintain the AMG exhuast. Wheels are Leon Harderitt Beil in 20x9.5 and 20x10.5. Adjustable air suspension links and camber arms make it sit proper. The car is owned by one of my good friends who also happens to be in my crew Night Garage. Hope you guys can appreciate the work...
