Turbo's are great! I drive my buddy's cayenne turbo once in awhile. The seats are very comfy has a plush interior and the turbos spool up quick.

A GTS with rims is the hawtness!! Especially for well south of 100k.

these are all necessary changes.
imho, porsche has been very complacent on the horse power race. even in the 1990's, porsches were getting out-gunned by japanese cars.
now, the same thing is happening - lexus and infiniti's are both putting out over 300 hp's for 6 cylinders. to me, the V6 getting 300 hp is not that big a deal and was the minimum required to keep up.

I've had both. I'd take the S over the tt. Off boost lag in low speed in town driving is a big negitive in the tt. Lousey tire wear is another. I thought the ML 550 is far better than either.

I'm going to be that guy that has to disagree with the Turbo being the SUV to buy. I got a left over 06 S model Titanium and find that it's quite quick and handles better than a lot of cars out there. The price isn't so outrageous and the upkeep isn't as expensive as the turbo as well. The interior is the same except for the alcatrana(sp?) headliner. Oh and buy the way, the turbo gets 13mpg vs 16.5 spirited mpg.

Again drive them all back to back at your local dealer and call your insurance agent.

Good luck and happy hunting!

ok i have to say this....why would you buy an overpriced VW Touareg!?!?!...sure the
Cayenne is a "Porsche" but underneath it IS a Touareg and i would go with a V10 TDI....listen the Treg looks better and i think it is better quality and the ride is better...this coming from experiance in both cars...but hell if you don't think like me go with the Turbo!
