Just had TSB 32.50/09 or /09A performed

I just got my S55 back from the Dealer with this description, performed TSB 32.50/09 -09A, in my paperwork. It was a warranty repair due to a condition I described as follows:

During extended idling, say 10 minutes or so, the car would ever so slowly rise, then suddenly drop back down to ride height. The drop took about 2 seconds so it was noticeble, but very smooth (no jerks). The rise was however bearly perceptible. It would repeat this over and over at idle. No codes. rise was about 1 to 1.5 inches.

I found some basic info online. The MB description as "LEVEL ADJUSTMENT WITHOUT OBVIOUS CAUSE"

Happily, the problem is gone, though it never had effect on driveability. Does anyone have the technical details and repair procedure of this bulletin, I am very curious.

Hi. Interesting story. Did you ask for the fix or did they just perform it during service?

I noticed the behaviour you describe a couple of times on my S55/SL55 2003 with ABC. Thought it was normal.

I took it in because the idling occurances began to increase in frequency, AND also when garaged, the car would originally keep its ride height for 4 weeks without issue (longest i let it go without at least a start), but it started to lower after about 2 weeks ..

The two issues prompted me to bring it in. All was remedied under warranty.

Still wondering if anyone has details on the TSB 32.50/09 or 09A.

All I could find is this: http://www.justanswer.com/questions/...es-s500-havent

09A supersedes 09, so they are probably roughly the same.

Mines having the same issue. When waiting in the drive thru is when I notice it. My friend thought it was cool, but it's not the case any more. My car does have 110k so assuming it's not covered under factory warranty. I did just purchase an extended warranty for 2400.00 so i'm awaiting for the agreement details so I can hopefully have services and fixed. Also notice that after leaving the car parked for several days, it lowered itself.
