Pics of my new Paint/body work **56k warning**
i picked up an old style amg body kit and spoiler awhile back and finally got around to getting it installed
this weekend i put 3 coats zaino z-2 on it and i hope you like the results, (i do

i havnt been able to pick up too much more info on the kit either
i picked it off ebay for a steal, it came in a really old amg box and all the bits (front + rear bumper and side skirts) came with authentic amg stampings
it musta been sitting in someones warehouse for years

i got the paint done at a cheap but good autobody shop in Newington, VA which is about 5 min from Springfield, he does an amazing job

Real or fake?
I sent pics of your car to My contact in Japan that worked for Wald an AMG in the late 80s and early 90s. He said that the kit you purchased is the fake one. Did you have a hard time getting the panels to fit properely? He states by looking at your pictures that there are panel gaps. Dont get me wrong I like the way your car looks. But Im wondering your take on this. Jeff

hmm, strange my paint guy actually commented to me how well it fit after he finished the job
he said usually aftermarket stuff needs adjustment, the kit i gave him snapped on like factory stuff
it also has amg info stamped into the plastic, i can get the numbers if you wish, and came in amg boxing
iunno, if its fake, its a damn good one

I think what jjay911 mean is look at the picture of the front bumper and the fender are off alignment.... other then that everything look ok....

edit: it is a touch misaligned, but evenly so on both sides
the picture makes it seem much worse because of the angle of shot

Body KIt
I like your body kit more now that I have had a chance to study it. I may have to look for one. Here are some pics of MY alfa Romeo with a body kit. I need lots of help come time to repaint because the Kit is very poorly alligned. Click on this link and its the first 3 pictures. The Red GTV_6 and yes those ar 18 inch rims on an Alfa. Jeff
