I know everybody is checking in to see what the BAD A$$ E500 ran. Well, I can tell you that my best run was a 14.23@97mph. I found a nice little chipped S4 to play with most of the day. We ran 4 times and I went 3-1. He out E.T.'d and out MPH'd me every time but I got the win light 3 times. Nice guy, nice runs. 2 of them were too close to call until we saw the time slips.
I guess my car suffered from the heat too. Oh wait, or maybe it was the severe lack of horse power! Nah, I'm going with heat.
It may be slow but damn, them rims are clean
Good meeting everyone. Sniz, MigE55, E55Jay, SleeperX, and the Eurolite team. Special thanks to Patrick for giving me his racing slot and Ahmad for setting up another great meet.
And that S600 was STUPID FAST!
Anybody want some chicken?

First and foremost, thank you all for your kind invitation to M.I.R. The track was awesome but heat killed many cars out there today.
Congratulations to Stephen, who totally stunned us with his 10.8 pass. I am glad you like the BMC filters. (yes, the filters do make a difference!!)
And congratulations to all for successfully making it to the track and having more track times under their belt. (Yes, practice makes perfect.)
Benz-O-rama, thank you for your KFC! It was the ultimate life saver!!
Jody, thank you for representing EuroElites/Evotech. I'm glad you have broken the 12s. Keep it up and take her to Englishtown.
Carl, nice meeting you and i love your C43, it runs so smooth and its FAST!
P.T.E, you are truly a class act, and thank you for the springs! It was a masterpiece!
Albert, finally we get to meet you. It was truly a pleasure.
Lastly, I want to sincerely thank Frank, Julie, Jody, Rody, Jason for taking good care of us; spoiling us with delicious food.
Hopefully we will back on November with a special guest.....
PS: Do not mess with Julie, she's like a professional formula 1 driver!!!

The weather sucked but the company more than made up for it. It was great meeting all the guys.
My car was perfect bracket car, one 11.39 and four 11.41's all at 123 +.
My only NOS pass came late in the day
60ft:1.721
330: 4.718
1/8:7.155
mph : 101.98
10.953
131.29
No matter what I did the car would not 60ft better than 1.70's dead hooking. I have a feeling the torque management on the tranny is keeping me from leaving really hard.
Congrats to Stephen with that 10.80 pass , those 600's are very impressive.
Big thanks to Ahmad for setting this up, I would definitely drive up again in Dec if we have another rental.
Peace out to everyone, time to get some sleep to finish the drive home tomorrow morning.

Adam, thank you buddy for the Great work...Man the car is a complete Beast...Yes I finally broke the 12's.
I drove from NY this morning like at 6, got to MIR like at 11.40, by that time the heat was like 88 degrees If i recall correctly. I let the beast coold down for a good 20 Mins and off to see what she could do.
First pass was like a nightmare, i spun so bad I almost hit the wall....no traction so I learned after speaking with jay I had too much air in tires, lol!, little did I know i was running 43 PSI, man what a dumbjack.. Thanks Jay and Adam and Sleeper X for the great coaching.
3 mins later
2nd pass dropped PSI to like 23, did my usual burnout and feathered her off the line, spun a bit and was able to squeeze 60 footer to like 1.868 and 1/4 at 11.95- 117..8 MPH, overall I was happy but you should have seen my face when frank tells me congrats you broke 11's...hahahahah classic.
After that it was pretty much worth less for me, I had no fan, no ice and definitely inexperienced at the track, I definitely learned from Alrbert...Rflow, he is a serious tracker and very diligent with his car, congratulations on your great passes!, Keep up the good work.
I'd say if the heat would not have been a factor and I would not have had the long trip from NYC or at least enough time to cool her off and a bit more track prep, I would have seen at least mid 11's.
Black Benz- great job on organizing this Event!
Adam- Please don't leave my man tony behind on this...The tech behind the scenes, That guys is the man! Tony good riding with you buddy...we could talk for Hours on R&D, lol!! HAHAHAHAH

without trying to hijack this thread (pm me if you want), i'd like to discuss this more with you as i'm experiencing the EXACT same pattern whether on street tires or d/r's and modulating throttle just enough to prevent wheel spin.

For those that couldn't make it, you missed a great event! I had a blast and it really was great to be able to meet a lot of the MBWorld guys. The NY/NJ guys represented well and all were really cool. The local guys hated it for Albert. He traveled all the way up here for weather no better than in Florida.
I do have to admit that I missed having my 55 there. It was fun watching all the 55's run along with Stephen's S, Jay's CL, the C55's and and all the others. Those are great running cars guys! Again, it was great meeting all you guys and I look forward to doing this againg when the weather actually cools off.
Ahmad, thanks again for setting this up. We had a great turn out with a ton of cool cars.

Out Of Control!!
No problem guys. I had a blast seeing all those amazing cars run and meeting everyone. It seems like everyone (not just mbworld) wants to do this again very soon. There is MUCH more interest this time and I'm sure the spots will fill up fast. I think 50 cars was a good number and allowed everyone to make as many passes as they liked. If anything we could fit more.
