We tried to get some interest. In the end we only had three people. We will need at least ten to recover R&D.

If you are interested talk to Mike at sales 714.901.3100.

As far as two-piece rotors, it is the same problem. A lot of talk but no action.

Vadim: why do you have them for the E55 then? Is it because of the cross platform applications? I would think the demand on something like that for an S or E class would be lower than a C. Arent the front rotors and brakes the same on the sport packages now also? Bigger market!!

Nope, the demand for E55 performance products is 2-3 times higher than C32.

One would think with 500HP and 14.2'' brakes, 55 guys would be happy. I guess too much power is never enough.

Thumbs up

I would be greatly interested in the C32 Kompressor cooling package. I have contacted Michael vie e-mail (as I am in Australia).

What I have noticed is that the performance on this car is exceptional until heatsoak occurs raising the intake temperature beyond what the current intercooler can lower.

I have only had the car for 6 weeks and the varied performance is too evident (sickening , disgusting, not well liked, etc, etc). Heck, it is Winter here at the moment and I am dreading the thought of even greater losses in performance come Summer!

If Evosport's cooling kit could help maintain a more consistent power output from this engine, I and many others would surely be very happy chappies and chappettes!

So let's do it guys and gals! Let's contact Michael from Evosport (and be genuine!) and let him know that we would like to benefit from this COOL mod!

C32 Cooling Package

As Vadim has mentioned, we need a minimum of 10 orders with deposits to be able to release the C32 Cooling Package. Please call or email me to be added to the list. Once we get 10 confrimed orders, we will be able to complete the engineering necessary to be able to offer the kits. 714.901.3100 x12 or mike@evosport.com

It is very hard to get 10 people who want to buy somthing at the same time. You would be better off making it, and letting people buy it when they have the cash.

The very same Cooling Package was first offered on 4/14/05 when Vadim posted on this forum. We have found that in that time only 3-4 people have shown remote interest in the package. If this is the case 3 months later, it is telling us there is not enough of a demand to proceed with engineering and development of the porject.

I'm interested but to me ~$1K for a water pump and new hoses is just too much (maybe I'm too cheap).
Also (and please don't take this the wrong way) your website's product filter doesn't seem to be working properly (I always get BMW products included in the list when I select Mercedes products).

I have to agree..there also seems to be decrease in customer service since I have recently sent two emails and one telephone call with a voice message/contact number left to inquire on a product that is not fully explained on there website..all three have gone unanswered..

Respdoc,

I am sorry to hear that you have not been called back. I make it a point to call all customers back as soon as possible. Please call me directly if you have any questions. Mike 714.901.3100 x12 or mike@evosport.com.

I am also disappointed, as I am sure are other members, to hear that you do not see the value in the Cooling Package we are trying to offer.

The Cooling Package for the C32 includes the following:

> 600% higher capacity fluid pump (90 liters per minute vs. 15 liters per minute.
> Pump Mounting Bracket
> Electrical Pump Relay
> High-Tech flex hoses fro maximum durability
> AN Fittings for easy installation
> Intake surge tank phenolic spacers with gaskets

Benefits include reduction of air intake temperatures by over 20F, more consistent and repeatable performance and 20-25F decrease in intake manifold surface temps.

sorry, this might be a dumb question, but is the stock intercooler/heat exchanger efficient enough to cool the faster moving fluid? Pushing the coolant through the intercooler faster is great and all, but if the intercooler itself is the bottleneck in the cooling process, is it really going to help much?

The improvement is not huge, but noticeable from driving perspective. Car is a lot more consisnent.

When we get new intercooler design finalized, new pump will be needed.

Vadim,
Does that mean that Evosport is still developing more upgrades for the C32?

Does it make sense to wait for the new intercooler design before doing the pump upgrade? Will the new intercooler design fit in an SLK32?

I have new intercooler in the works. It has gone through several design stages. Final prototype should be ready by September.

Problem is - that it is an expensive piece to make and at this time we do not see a market for it.
