One Touch Automatic Roof
Last year I installed a one touch roof module, it automatically puts the roof up / down after pressing the standard button for 1 second.
Today I removed this module and upgraded to another module that does the same but up to 30 mph, it also operates from my OEM remote. I can now get out of my car & press lock on my keyfob 3 times and walk away, the roof / windows & doors lock automatically.
Cool, eh!
Below is a pic of my original auto roof module. Guess it'll be on eBay soon, any offers...

The only thing that would be better would be a real-life Transformer that goes from being a Bently GT and turns into a Stepford wife when you aren't driving it.
I like it so much I am going to buy them for my hardtop cars. (Will that work?)
But why build a "promotional website"? I bet at least a dozen of us on this board, maybe up to 50 or 60, would LOVE to buy the NEW style module you installed without seeing a website.
I want one. Will it cost less than $50,000?

For the full "singing & dancing" modules, I'm thinking around £299.00.
As for installation, its all under the rear seat, apart from 2 wires which link to the PPE in the boot. It takes about 2 hours, being very carefull.
If you can retro fit a car stereo, you can install this!
I'm dragging my heels abit on this because it will cost me a lot to setup, and I'm not sure of the response / demand?

A little impromptu, but some users that have PM'd me seem to think I'm talking nonsense. So I just videod the operation. Please excuse the dirty vehicle, I didn't have time to clean it, aswell...

Remember, this also has "one touch" operation from the centre console up to 30mph as well. Or 3 clicks on the OEM remote.

That is soooo awesome. Will it work on other MBZ convertibles? CLK, SLK, etc? I hope 299 UK is about $49.99 in the USA. It is, right?

Depending on how many people order will affect the final price.
I'm thinking of creating a website with installation video's etc...

Here we go, I wanted to build a pretty website with whistles & bells. But to speed things up a little, I'm using a portion of my test site.
Just click the SL129 page:
http://www.pigzmickey.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/
Note: I need your VIN and preferably a pic of your keyfob.

Gee Whiz . . . $1.86 per pound??? Did we lose a war or something? $500 seems a little high. I'm gonna buy one and then send it to china to see if they can make them for less. I'll sell them for $99. Let's see . . . . Probably 100 people will buy them . . . so, I'll have gross revenues of $10,000. Minus costs . . . Hmmm . . . I think I'll make about a $500 profit.
Just enough to buy a good one from you.
Okay, I'm just joking around.
You did a great job, and I will buy one from you . . . but only after a couple other people do it first and report back. Maybe some of you UK guys can try them out, that way, if they aren't easy to install and use, you can go to Pigz house and complain.

I've worked it out, that if I can get 10 orders then I can sell them at just £199.00 each.

I can only automate SL 129 / SLK 170 & SLK 171 from MB at the moment, I can also automate Audi's new A4 conv & Audi 80 conv, Peugeot 206cc & Renault Megan conv.
Any takers, I need 10 to make it worth while!?!
