Arrow 1997 Slk 230 Trans. Oil Leak

I bought this car a few months ago and I have notice that it leaking oil from the automatic transmission. I do no have a way measuring the remaining oil since it does not have a measuring "rod".
On the other hand I do not know where and how to add some.
Can anyone help on this?
Thanks

This is common. You measure tranny oil by removing the red plug and using a service dipstick available at the dealer. Check out the post below, it maybe of help.

Plus make one of these.
Measure at normal op temp in park, engine idling
Stick contacts bottom of sump and you measure up.
You can make one from a length of springy curtain rod and mark grads on. (53 to 63mm at 80c )
