*** VRP Headers for SLK 32/320 ***

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We are in a process of making custom headers for SLK 32/320.

On 32 we are expecting gains in 20-25HP range on 320 in 15-20HP.

Headers will be made from mild steel with HiTemp ceramic coating.

Regular price will be $1299. Introductory special for first 5 orders is $999.

Please feel free to call or e-mail with any questions.

I will post further updates.

This is ongoing development on my SLK32. After seeing the original header design, Vadim pointed out and I certainly agreed that the header was a restriction because there was no collector. Vadim has been working on these for a while but it took quite a while to get flanges. Hoping for good results with these.

Due to space limitations we had to do compound bends that take a lot of time to make right. Here is driver side, almost finished.

Production pieces will be made from mild steel and HiTemp ceramic coated.

You can add bigger injectors very easily. Contact TVT Design about it. They are working very hard at the N/A crowd.

Vadim, thank god some one is finally doing a set of headers that actually look like headers. I'll send you a check tomorrow and just wait for them to be finished.

We don't know if there is really a fuel problem or not yet. That is what I thought before but Vadim was able to run headers on his C32 and get over 400 whp without modifying the injectors or pump so we initially believe it should be OK but we won't know until after the dyno.

Will the C32 headers fit the regular M112 engines for the regular CLKs and Cs with the 3.2L V6?

C32 headers will fit all M112 E320s and C320s. CLK320 is different from all other 6 cylinders.

Vadim, they look great. Finally, after almost 6 years, we'll have headers available. Thanks for taking on the job. I know it was harder than expected considering the tight quarters.

Any idea of when we will get these puppies on the Dyno and see how they perform?

I have high hopes they will remove a big cork in the SLK's quest for more power.

Soon I hope but I have learned to be patient with this project. Good thing I have other cars to drive. Dyno on my car won't be the best test because it is not just a simple before and after. We'll need another SLK32 to use as the real test and even then it only makes sense to take a baseline, install the headers, tune for proper A/F and then dyno again.
